Hey guys
any help is good help!!
i am a trainy music teacher and i need to make a 6 week lesson plan on xmas carols for a year 7 class,
however i have completed the plan but i have managed to fit 6 weeks worth of lessons into only 2 weeks worth of classes so im 4weeks sort of what to do.
I want the class to understand xmas songs, struture, musical elements, etc and have decided that for the first 2 weeks the will sing and compose a xmas song in groups and i will also go through music elements with them
but this activity will only take two lessons to cover which is where you guys come in.
What else can i plan for the further four weeks of teaching the xmas carol songs?, please help im going to be teaching them this info after half term break which is in 2weeks time.

I'm bartering with a music teacher 1/2 hr lesson once a week and I massage him 1 hr twice a month but I didnt agree to that yet because I usually charge for a hour So should I ask him how much he charges and if it's a total of for an hour should he have to teach me at least 45min instead of a 1/2hr once a week? Or should I just do my hour verses his hour? What would you do? Just bit the bullet or say something?

I was just assigned to be the music teacher at work. I have knowledge of music but do not have formal experience teaching. I work with the kids as an assistant but mostly work in the office. Any tips or suggestions?

I'm doing some field work with Kindergartners and I have to teach a 30 minute music lesson to Kindergartners. I'm just wondering if there is anyone on here that is a general music teacher that might be able to help with this. I understand that they have short attention spans and I may need to do six separate "mini" lessons in the course of the 30 minutes. Any advice would be great. Thanks.
